On June 6, 2018, more than 700 National Education professionals gathered in the Grand Amphitheater of the Sorbonne as part of the 6th Conference of the Association for Research in Neuroeducation, organized by LaPsyDÉ in partnership with the Academies of Paris, Versailles, and Créteil.
Ministers, rectors, teachers, trainers, all were gathered around a question: "Neuroeducation: a new science for the school? ". Conferences given by several French-speaking researchers in developmental psychology, educational sciences and developmental cognitive neuroscience, as well as a round table, have helped to strengthen the links between the various actors in education by promoting sharing of expertise and facilitating the return of the laboratory to the school.
Among the fundamental principles to better understand the learning brain, we can mention the importance of reconsidering the status of error and learning to resist automatisms, the importance of reinforcing fundamental learning: read, write, counting and the processes of memorizing and consolidating knowledge, not to mention the role of the body in space and social interactions.

Le 6 juin 2018, plus de 700 acteurs de l’Éducation Nationale se sont réunis dans le Grand Amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne dans le cadre du 6e congrès de l’Association pour la Recherche en Neuroéducation, organisé par le LaPsyDÉ en partenariat avec les académies de Paris, Versailles, et Créteil.
Ministre, recteurs, enseignants, formateurs, tous, furent réunis autour d’une question : La neuroéducation : une nouvelle science pour l’école? Des conférences données par plusieurs chercheur.e.s francophones en psychologie du développement, en sciences de l’éducation et en neurosciences cognitives développementales ainsi qu’une table ronde ont permis de renforcer les liens entre les différents acteur.e.s de l’éducation en favorisant le partage d’expertises et en facilitant l’aller-retour du laboratoire à l’école.
Parmi les principes fondamentaux pour mieux comprendre le cerveau en train d’apprendre, on peut citer l’importance de reconsidérer le statut de l'erreur et d’apprendre à résister aux automatismes, l’importance de renforcer les apprentissages fondamentaux: lire, écrire, compter et les processus de mémorisation et de consolidation des connaissances, sans oublier le rôle du corps dans l'espace et les interactions sociales.

The 6th conference of the Association for Research in Neuroeducation will be held on June 7-8, 2018, at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, and organized by the Laboratory for the Psychology of the Child Development and Education (LaPsyDÉ) at the CNRS and the Paris Descartes University. This conference entitled "Neuroeducation: a new science for school?" will aim at presenting the findings of researchers who manage to reconcile the constraints of the cognitive neuroscience techniques with the investigation of questions in the field of education at school and at the university.
