Les Presses de l'Université du Québec (PUQ) viennent de publier un ouvrage de référence pour chercheurs et étudiants-chercheurs intéressés par la neuroéducation intitulé Méthodes de recherche en neuroéducation, dirigé par les professeurs Steve Masson et Grégoire Borst, respectivement président et vice-président de l'ARN.

Résumé
Depuis quelques années, un nombre croissant de chercheurs en neurosciences et en éducation s’intéressent à la neuroéducation, un domaine de recherche en émergence qui étudie les relations entre le cerveau, l’apprentissage et l’enseignement. Cependant, ces chercheurs sont souvent freinés par le fait qu’un projet de recherche en neuroéducation nécessite une expertise à la fois en neurosciences et en pédagogie. Fruit d’une collaboration entre deux laboratoires de recherche, l’un consacré à l’éducation et l’autre aux neurosciences, le présent ouvrage a pour objectif de guider le chercheur et l’étudiant-chercheur à travers le processus d’une recherche en neuroéducation. Le chercheur en éducation y trouvera de l’information technique (concernant notamment l’utilisation de l’imagerie cérébrale), et le chercheur en neurosciences y trouvera quant à lui des points de repère pédagogiques (lui permettant entre autres de comprendre comment les techniques des neurosciences peuvent s’appliquer à la résolution des problèmes de recherche liés à l’éducation).

Summary
In recent years, a growing number of researchers in neuroscience and education have been interested in neuroeducation, an emerging field of research that studies the relationships between the brain, learning and teaching. However, these researchers are often hampered by the fact that a research project in neuroeducation requires expertise in both neuroscience and pedagogy. Fruit of a collaboration between two research laboratories, one devoted to education and the other to neuroscience, this book aims to guide the researcher and the student-researcher through the research process in neuroeducation. The researcher in education will find technical information (including the use of brain imaging), and the neuroscience researcher will find pedagogical references (allowing him, notably, to understand how neuroscience can be applied to scientific problematics related to education).
